Laws of Boolean Algebra

*Boolean Algebra expressions have been invented to help reduce the number of logic gates needed to perform a particular logic operation resulting in a list of functions or theorems.
*Boolean Expressions can be eased and manipulated
in the same way.

The basic laws of Boolean algebra.
Eg: The commutative laws for addition and multiplication, the associative laws for addition and multiplication, and the distributive law-are the same as in ordinary algebra and others. 


Basic Laws of Boolean Algebra






Addition(DeMorgan’s Law):
  •  Product of A and B are independently inverted.
  • (AB)' is not equal to A'B'
 à The "prime" symbol (') cannot be stretched over two variables like a bar can.
 à Forced to use parentheses to make it apply to the whole term AB.
  • It is often easier to approach a problem by breaking the longest (uppermost) bar before breaking any bars under it. You must never attempt to break two bars in one step!
  • If need to break the line ,so that have to change the sign.
